El pasado 25 de Mayo de 2010, Tecplot Inc. liberó al mercado la Versión 2010 de sus productos de software para visualización en la Industria: Tecplot 360 y Tecplot Focus. Esta nueva versión ofrece mejoras en el desempeño y opciones más versátiles para contar con presentaciones aun más profesionales.

 

Dentro de las mejoras más importantes se encuentran:

· El cargado de los datos hasta 3 veces más rápido.

· La producción e impresión de un conjunto más vasto de gráficas. La funcionalidad ofrecida por TrueType y Unicode permiten a los usuarios el hacer sus anotaciones en casi cualquier idioma, incluyendo Ruso, Japonés, Chino y Coreano.

· Ahorro de tiempo al utilizar menos clics para abrir o guardar archivos entre sesiones o al trabajar con los archivos.

· Simplifica el despliegue corporativo de los datos a través de múltiples departamentos, divisiones o ubicaciones.

· Aprovecha el cargador mejorado de formato de datos de poliedros y mediciones EnSight.

El pasado 12 de Enero de 2010, National Instruments anunció la liberación de la última versión de su producto de software para la simulación de circuitos al merado: Multisim Versión 11.0, con versiones especializadas para el aprendizaje y el uso profesional del diseño de circuitos. El producto de software Multisim proporciona una visión gráfica que resume de una manera fácil las complejidades de la simulación de circuitos tradicional, apoyando a los ingenieros, profesores y estudiantes a emplear de una manera fácil la tecnología avanzada de análisis de circuitos.

La versión académica de Multisim 11 incorpora funcionalidad especializada para la enseñanza y es complementada por libros de texto y material de curso de circuitos.
